We are also delighted to invite veterans and past and present members of the military to attend the movie free of charge as well.

Non-sustaining members, non-veterans, and non-military are also invited to attend.  We ask that they make a donation to FCTh, Inc. when they come to enjoy the film.

Sustaining Membership Drive underway

The Fallon Community Theatre group is a nonprofit organization dedicated to renovating the historic downtown Fallon Theatre.

The theatre was built in 1920 as a vaudeville theatre and is currently being used as two movie theatres.  Since the lower theatre has a stage, we would like to be able to have live presentations of local theatre groups, musical groups and other entertainment in the lower theatre space along with showing movies.

The Fallon Theatre is the anchor of the business district in downtown Fallon and we would like the theatre to remain open and continue to support jobs and business downtown. Perhaps you have been to the theatre recently and have seen the improvements made in the lower theatre.  The seats are much cleaner and more comfortable and the theatre is more spacious with the removal of  three rolls of seats.

We would like to invite you to become a SUSTAINING MEMBER of Fallon Community Theatre.  For $20 per month, you will receive unlimited movie access and you will be helping the theatre to remain open.  If you enjoy the local downtown movie theatre and would like to contribute to sustain the Fallon Theatre please find the Annual Sustaining Membership Application link below, complete the form and return it to P.O. Box 222, Fallon, NV 89407.  If you have questions about sustaining membership, click the Contact button and leave information for a member of the Fallon Community Theatre to contact you.  Other ways to contact Fallon Community Theatre include calling Fallon Theatres at 423-6210,  e-mailing TheFallonTheatre@gmail.com, or by sending a letter to P.O.Box 222, Fallon, NV 89407.

It will be exciting what your donation can do to help the Fallon Theatre.

Read more about the benefits of being a Sustaining Member under the EVENTS / Sustaining Membership tab at the top of this page.

Digital projector installed in lower theatre

Digital projector installed in lower theatre

A brand new digital projector was installed in early May in the projection booth of the lower theatre.  The new digital projector replaces one of the old 35mm projectors.  The move to the digital format allows newer releases to be scheduled.  The upper theatre still has the 35mm format.   Many movie goers enjoyed American Sniper which was the film chosen to debut the new system.  Patrons also enjoyed the newly re-covered seats and ample leg-room in the lower theatre.    A big thank you to all those who helped to re-cover the seats and remove three rows of seats (which widened the aisle for three rows of seats).   This is the first of several renovation projects planned for the Fallon Theatre.

PROJECT UPDATE:  Both the upper and lower houses now have digital projectors.
