As much as we loved the concession stand wall that doubled as a painted mural, it was time for a refresh. New paint, new framed posters describing our specials, designed by Dr. Alexis Berney, went up in June of 2020 while we had the theatre closed for Covid precautions.
Such a big difference!
Along with the BEAUTIFUL new updates to the paint in the concession area, we also installed new floors in June of 2020!
There is a set of valves located in the center of the concessions which occasionally needs to be reached, but in the past it’s meant cutting up and then patching the flooring that was there. Now we’ll have a convenient little hidden door!
Plus the area where the popcorn machine has sat for years and years was showing wear from the weight and movement of the wheels. It was definitely time for an update!
